The Green Schools Committee were delighted to host a high vis vest disco for the infant classes. The infants have been great this year at wearing their high vis vests daily to school and the Committee thought that this was worth a reward....

Elves Workshop 2024

December in the Marist always brings our Elves Workshop to Junior Infants.

Health and Safety is paramount - all elves must wear the correct headgear and high vis vest to work in the workshop daily. Already this week we have made our own decorations, checked the naughty and nice list, and created cards for our friends. We have lots more work to do before the big day!

Peace

The girls in 4th class entered a Peace Art Competition organised by the Dublin Mayor's Office. 5 students were chosen to go further and represent Dublin in the next stage of the competition. Well done to Dorothy, Nicolette, Claire, Skyler and Penelope.

Reindeer Fun Run

The children in Fourth Class went to Trinity College today to take part in a Reindeer Fun Run as part of the TAP Programme. They got the opportunity to enjoy a fun and festive experience on Trinity Campus which was designed for all levels of abilities. Lots of fun was had both in the warm up exercises beforehand and the run itself. It was a wonderful experience for all! Take a look at our exciting day!

Junior Infants have been learning about Space. We know all about rockets, planets, orbits, astronauts and aliens. We even know how to brush your teeth and sleep in Space! Ask us:)

We have also been learning about how extraordinary our own planet is. Lucky us!
