A Farmer's Life for Me!
We are planting! Our raised beds have been uncovered from their Winter sleep. We have prepared the soil and begun to grow our own vegetables from seeds! Every class has a different vegetable to grow - our vegetables include - spring onions, lettuce, carrots, beetroot and peas! We are even attempting to grow watermelons - yum! Some of our vegetables are being minded in our classrooms still until they are strong enough to go outside. We are also learning about how important bees and pollination are for our food's growth. We are also planting wildflower seeds to help the bees. Have you seen our AMAZING school mural that promotes pollination?
