Dublin Footballers and Cups Visit the School
The school has been very fortunate to have players from the two All Ireland Football Teams - Ladies and Men's team, visit our school. Sr. Ann's niece, Sinead Aherne, Captain of the Ladies Winning Team, brought the Brendan Martin Cup on Monday 11th December and Colm Basquel from the Men's Team brought the Sam Maguire Cup. We celebrated with both and the children got the opportunity to ask the players questions about training, managers and who inspires them. We look forward to welcoming both teams back to our school with their cups next year!
