Grandparents' Day in the Marist Primary School
Today, Wednesday 4th of February, was a very special day for us as we welcomed grandparents to our school as part of our Catholic Schools Week programme.
Grandparents came from Dublin, all over Ireland and other European Countries to be with us today. They visited the classrooms of their grandchildren. They spoke to the children about their own schooldays and the children entertained them with songs, stories and games.
As a school we assembled in the hall for a short service in which we celebrated the important role which grandparents have in their garanchildrens' lives and to thank them for their love and support. It was a beautiful memorable morning which grandparents, children and staff thoroughly enjoyed.
