Sam Maguire Visits Our School
Last Monday Luke our GAA coach came with a very special visitor to the school! He carried the Same Maguire cup with pride around to every class in the school. This is the third time in the last four years that Sam Maguire has been to the school and we expect it will be back again next year for three in a row! The children all wore blue to mark the special occasion and Luke told every class about the history of the Sam Maguire cup. We hope the visit will inspire all our children to get involdved in the GAA or in any sport.
